About the author

Jon Klassen

JON KLASSEN is the New York Times-bestselling author and illustrator of numerous books who was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2018 for his contributions to children’s literature. Jon’s I Want My Hat Back, a #1 New York Times bestseller, was named a Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor Book, a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Children's Book of the Year, and a Publishers Weekly Best Children's Book of the Year. The second book in his hat trilogy, This Is Not My Hat, won the Caldecott Medal and the Kate Greenaway Medal.
