Eat Beautiful

Nourish your skin from the inside out

Take care of your skin from the inside out

Foreword by Sienna Miller.

World-renowned beauty and make-up expert Wendy Rowe knows skin inside out. In this refreshing beauty book, Wendy will teach you how to keep your skin healthy and let your inner and outer beauty shine.

Wendy has devised over 70 easy and delicious recipes specifically designed to feed your skin with the nutrients it needs to glow. Each of the recipes correlates to an essential skin-feeding ingredient that will help target specific skin problems and common complaints. From cucumbers, ‘the internal cleanser’, to limes, ‘the natural astringent’ and carrots, ‘the immunity booster’, there are also breakdowns of the vitamins and nutrients each of these familiar ingredients provide.

And not only will there be methods for feeding your skin, there will also be suggestions on how to keep your skin pampered with recipes for homemade masks, scrubs, mists, cleansers and toners, as well as an informative troubleshooting section for confidence-zapping skin problems. Wendy provides specific advice for foods to embrace or avoid depending on your skin.

Split into the four seasons, this stunning book can be dipped in and out of, or followed like a seasonal plan, and will ensure that you achieve beautiful, radiant skin all year round.

Praise for Eat Beautiful

“When it comes to Wendy, I am not sure where to start. I have never met someone like her. She manages to be one of the funniest yet hardest working people I have ever met. She consistently makes me giggle and also manages to make me look the best I possibly can. What more could you want?! Whatever Wendy does to look so incredible, we should all be taking notes. That's why she is doing us all a massive favour by releasing this book! Thank you Wendy, thank you so very much.”

Cara Delevingne, Cara Delevingne

“Wendy is a ball of creative, loving and energetic fire. She always has a fresh take on a look that pays off and is never shy of an impromptu boogie. Wendy takes me to Neverland.”

Suki Waterhouse, Suki Waterhouse

“I have been working with Wendy since I was 18 and am proud to call her a friend. I don't know many people with the same amount of drive and talent as her, and on top of it she is the easiest and funniest person to be around. Sometimes it feels like we live in a world of instant gratification and quick fixes, but I am a true believer in the 'inside-out' approach to health and it is so refreshing to read such a concise and readable book on this subject. Go Wendy!!”

Amber Anderson, Amber Anderson

“To me, beauty starts with beautiful skin and Wendy definitely knows how to achieve great skin. I've learned so much from her about the right foods to eat that will benefit my skin during different seasons. Wendy's skin is actually always glowing. I trust Wendy completely with skin care and any time I have problems with skin or need some new make-up tricks she's the first person I go to for advice. Wendy is a skin and beauty guru!”

Anja Rubik, Anja Rubik

“Wendy was a pioneer of the “natural”, “dewy” “translucent” look long before it became a current obsession- one of the very first make-up artists to realise that beautiful skin comes from the inside. And she practices what she preaches- bringing healthy vitamin rich drinks to the studio and encouraging young models to eat healthily. Her skills with the make-up brushes, are of course, legendary and I’ve enjoyed watching her transform models and celebrities with the lightest of touches. Luckily- her healthy ideas allow for the odd guilty pleasure. I've made the date and walnut brownies and take it from me, they are yummy.”

Kathy Phillips, Kathy Phillips

“Wendy is by far one of the most forward, fun and fast makeup artists I know. She knows exactly what she wants and applies all skincare and foundations in a massage-like way, that it’s always a blessing being in her chair. And she’s always on some diet that I then join in to, for the shoot at least. She’s a good leader with that! Wish I could have her on all my sets!”

Toni Garrn, Toni Garrn

“I feel so lucky to be able to say that Wendy was the first makeup artist I've worked with in my career. We first met on the set of the Burberry campaign and she never fails to amaze me. The thing that separates Wendy from other makeup artists is not only her genuine, fun and kind hearted spirit- it's the fact that she is a true visionary and really knows her stuff about makeup, skincare and health. I never take this for granted as she is one of the few people who knows how to work with every skintone without compromising her signature Wendy makeup style! All in all, she is definitely one in a million and I'm sure everybody else who is lucky enough to know her will agree with me!”

Neelam Gill, Neelam Gill

“Wendy is a force of nature with an inspiring creative spirit - she uses science to create magic and this book shows exactly how it is done.”

Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer of Burberry, Christopher Bailey
