About the authors

Tosca Menten

Tosca Menten (1961) is a multi-talented lady: she writes children's books, performs with her own show in theatres, and writes and sings her own songs. She studied at the Arts Academy in Amsterdam and became a teacher after that for thirteen years. In 1999 her first book was published in Holland and today she is one of the most popular authors in Holland. Her Dummie the Mummy series is her international breakthrough and has been published in Germany, Poland, Italy, China, Lithuania and Bulgaria. And now Australia!
She has two daughters and a son.

Elly Hees

Elly Hees (1953) is an illustrator and graphic designer. She illustrated many children's books and published her own picture book.
