The Fry Chronicles CD

Author: Stephen Fry

'I am English.  Tweedy.  Pukka.  Confident.  Establishment.  Self-assured.  In charge.  That is how people like to see me, be the truth never so at variance . . . In fact, I am chronically overmastered by a sense of failure, underachievement and a terrible knowledge that I have betrayed, abused or neglected the talents that nature bestowed upon me . . . Are you not prey to all those things also?  I do hope so.  I am surely describing nothing more than the fears, dreads and neuroses we all share?  No?  Oh please say yes.'

This us the utterly compelling story of how Stephen began to make his presence felt as he took his first tentative steps in the worlds of television, journalism, radio, theatre and film.  Shameful tales of sugar, shag and champagne jostle with insights into credit cards, classic cars and conspicuous consumption, Blackadder, Broadway and the BBC.

Fry Chronicles - additional info

The Fry Chronicles can also be found as a tinglingly good new app for the iPhone, myFry.

myFry takes the traditional art of the index, plugs it into the mains and brings it twitchingly to life for the 21st century, creating a visual display of The Fry Chronicles that not only looks pleasing to the eye but also proves to be as intelligent, playful and fun as the man himself and it's now available in the App Store.
