My Family for the War

Franziska Mangold has lived in Germany her whole life.  For two generations her family has been Protestant. 
But at the outbreak of World War 11, Franziska Mangold's Jewish ancestry is enough to make her a criminal in her own country.  When her father is suddenly arrested by Nazis, she is smuggled out of the country with hundreds of other children aboard the kindertransport.  But even in the safety of her new country, she is still German – and considered an enemy for an entirely new reason.  With a complicated past and only a single suitcase to her name, how will she find a way to become a member of her new community?  And what will she find when she returns home?
