About the speakers
Rebekah Robertson is an Australian actor who has appeared on television and on stage. In 2012, she founded the first parent-led peer support group and information hub for transgender kids and their families in Australia, Transcend. She now advocates for transgender kids and has been nominated for several awards for her work.

Dr Rachel Richardson’s career has spanned over 35 years in the education sector. She was the former Sub-Dean, Learning and Teaching, with the Faculty of Arts & Education at Charles Sturt University. Rachel is a passionate advocate for the rights of Transgender people. She is particularly devoted to developing regional initiatives that support transgender people close to where they live. Rachel is a foundation member of the Gateway Health Gender Service Community Reference Group in Wodonga.
