About

Presenters: Helene Young, Christine Wells, Cathryn Hein

With over thirty published novels in romance, historical fiction, mystery, suspense and women’s fiction, Helene, Christine and Cathryn know what it takes to write a cracking yarn that publishers will buy and readers will love.
In this workshop, you will learn how to get ideas and turn them into a working premise for a novel, how to write characters who leap off the page, and how to sell or self-publish your story once it’s finished.

Perfect for beginners and experienced writers alike, this fun, interactive workshop will both inform and inspire.

Helene Young After 28 years as an airline captain in Australia, Helene Young has swapped the sky for the sea to go in search of adventure on a sailing catamaran. Her interest in social justice and the complexity of human nature shapes the stories she writes. Her six novels have won many awards, including Australian Romantic Book of the Year. https://www.heleneyoung.com

Cathryn Hein is a best-selling author of rural romance and romantic adventure novels, a Romance Writers of Australia Romantic Book of the Year finalist, and a regular Australian Romance Reader Awards finalist. Elsa’s Stand, releasing 9 July, will be her 13th published novel. https://www.cathrynhein.com

Christine Wells Christine is a former corporate lawyer who has published ten historical romance novels with New York publishers, Penguin and Pan MacMillan, and been nominated twice for the Romance Writers of America RITA award.
