About

Join us for an evening with Australian author Sandie Docker as she chats about her debut novel The Kookaburra Creek Cafe, a heart-warming, multi-generational story of three women in the small Australian town of Kookaburra Creek.

Sandie's love of fiction began when she first read Jane Austen for the HSC, and then whilst living in London decided to put pen to paper (yes, she writes everything the old fashioned way before hitting a keyboard). Now back in Sydney with her husband and daughter, she writes every day. The Kookaburra Creek Café is her first book.

Copies of Sandie's book will be available for purchasing and signing on the day.

Tea and coffee will be provided at 6pm with the talk commencing at 6.30pm.
