Kathy Buchanan has written for leading magazines and newspapers in Australia and the United Kingdom, including Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Empire, Cosmopolitan, Filmink, the Sunday Telegraph, the Sun-Herald and the UK Mirror. She began her writing career working on Esquire magazine in London. She is the author of Happy Endings: The Ultimate Movie and Book Guide for Women (Penguin, 2005), Charm School: The Modern Girl's Complete Handbook of Etiquette (Penguin, 2003) and Quit for Chicks (Penguin, 2003). Kathy has taught writing at Bond University, and has appeared on popular radio and TV shows. She lives in Sydney.

Cloudstreet 25th Anniversary
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Cloudstreet, Tim Winton’s sprawling, comic epic about luck and love, fortitude and forgiveness, and the magic of the everyday.
