Reviews

I picked up this book to have a browse and found myself reading poem after poem, laughing, thinking and wishing I could write poetry like this. This book is outstanding. Beautifully illustrated with poems from Margaret Mahy, Hone Tuwhare, Joy Cowley, Bill Manhire, to name just a few big names, plus exciting new poets including some very young ones. I was going to choose a favourite one but I simply couldn’t do it. The beauty of a book like this is children and adults can dip into it for five minutes or an hour over and over again.
