Don Henderson grew up on Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, playing football and going fishing. As time goes by his exploits in both these areas get better and better.
Both sides of Don's family were great storytellers and mischief-makers and this sparked his love of writing.
Don has taught English and Geography to secondary school students in various parts of Australia, dabbled in sports journalism, and, more recently, has begun writing novels. He has always loved teaching William Shakespeare's Macbeth and writing about football, and it is both of these passions that inspired Macbeth, You Idiot!
Don lives in a beachside suburb of Adelaide with his wife, Ali, and his children, Jack and Lucy.
