Meet our industry-leading insiders and bestselling Australian authors and download the agenda for Saturday 27 July 2013. 

With a particular focus on Commercial Fiction, this will be an inspiring and informative day-long seminar for anyone interested in what goes on behind the scenes in the book world. You will hear thoughts from publishing professionals and bestselling authors about the business of publishing, the publisher’s role, digital publishing, opportunities for new writers and getting that all-important first break – and beyond!  

This exclusive one-day seminar is on Saturday 27 July 2013 at the Chemical Sciences M11 Lecture Theatre, University of New South Wales, High Street, Kensington. 

The cost is $250 and includes morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch.

A Grand Night for Penguin Design
Congratulations to our talented team of designers, illustrators and authors on their success at the 61st annual  Australian Publishing Associations Book Design Awards. Held at held at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, it was a grand night for Penguin with our stunning book cover designs winning eight of the 11 categories as follows:  Best Designed Children’s Fiction
