Congratulations to Anna Funder on winning the 2013 InStyle and Audi Women of Style Award for Arts & Culture
Prior to writing full-time Anna trained as an international and human rights lawyer, and continues to pursue her interest in justice, frequently speaking in public on issues from free speech to the rights of both citizens and non-citizens (refugees). Her main interests are in balancing the rights and freedoms of individuals with our collective responsibilities to each other, and with the role of courage and compassion in civil society.
