'The St James’ Muswellbrook Parents and Friends Association became aware of the Penguin fundraising scheme through the Penguin Website. Our Primary School has just held its Annual Christmas Market, this year we used Penguin Group Australia for our Book Stall, from the first phone call, to the selling of the superb selection of books, the entire process was a pleasure. Tracy Bushell Holy Family P.S. Lindfield, NSW ‘A big thank you to Penguin Books for an easy breezy fundraiser . . . no parties or demonstrations to sit though or edible items to sell. It was gloriously simple and straightforward.’ Roxy Davin, President, Huntingdale Cherubs Playgroup, Thornlie WA. 'Penguin Books have done a great job of creating a no-lose fundraiser. With nothing to outlay, the school raises money without having to do anything. The beautifully presented catalogue invites book sales. The percentage profit returned to the school from book sales is generous and dealing directly with Penguin means there is no middleman, such as a party planner, taking their cut. The instructions to run the fundraiser are clearly set out on the website and are easy to understand and follow. Courtesy of the team at Penguin this fundraiser is well organised, professionally presented and easy to run. We highly recommend it and will be doing it again.' Annette Moran, St Brigid's Coogee, Fundraising Committee 'Great selection of books. Well packaged and received quickly. Thanks a lot for an excellent fundraiser.' Rachel Underwood, Mini Gems Children’s Centre 'What can we say Penguin was fantastic, our parents loved it their comments were overwhelmingly supportive of this fundraiser. So many parents prefer paying the money for books instead of chocolates one comment we got was “this is great it is light on the pocket and light on the thighs”. We will do this fundraisier again and again.' Sonia Ledger, OSHC Co-ordinator, Ipswitch PCYC 'My playgroup at Coburg Baptist Church participated in your fundraiser this year, and we were all really impressed! One of our leaders is a school teacher, and places a high emphasis on reading/literacy, and in her opinion your fundraiser was far superior to bookclubs like Scholastic, as you have proper books not just gimmicks....we don't have any suggestions to give because we thought it was all great, and you were very professional and efficient, especially when one of our books was damaged and you sent a replacement immediately at no extra charge. 'I just wanted to say thank you. It was a great fundraiser… [the parents] were really happy with their books. So were the teachers with the ones they got on the credit voucher. They are really keen to do it again next year.' Sam Manning, Miles Franklin Preschool
