Shannon Fricke is a well-known interior designer, stylist, homewares designer, blogger, author and TV presenter. A regular stylist for respected home magazines here and overseas, she has presented more than sixty episodes of HOME for the Lifestyle Channel and was voted Favourite Female Subscription Television Presenter at the 2005 ASTRA Awards. As well as HOME, Shannon has appeared on Postcards from Home, Houseguests and An Insider's Guide to Collecting. She is the author of two other books, Sense of Style: Colour and Sense of Style: Space, and writes regularly for Inside Out magazine. Shannon lives with her family on their farm between the New South Wales coast and country, where she spends her time cooking, gardening and doing 'farm chores'. She passes on her down-to-earth style of decorating in her regular and well-attended How to Decorate workshops.

2012 Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs) - winners

The Australian Book Industry Awards were held in Sydney on Friday night. It was a great night for Penguin with our books taking the top honors in four book categories including the prestigious Book of the Year. Congratulations also to Peg McColl, Kate McCormack and the rights team who won the International (Rights) Award for the second year running for Paul French's book Midnight in Peking. United Book Distributors were again named Distributor of the Year.
