Rita Erlich (Author)

About

Rita Erlich started cooking at a young age and has scarcely stopped. She began writing about food while she was studying at the University of Melbourne, and has continued to do so, with forays into writing about arts and education whilst working as a senior journalist at The Age  newspaper. Her food interests extend to restaurants, cooking, history, culture, agriculture, education, wine and nutrition. She travels extensively, leads gastronomic tours and admires chocolate cake wherever she goes.

Rita believes that chocolate cake ought to be considered a food group, and that it deserves a place of its own in the Dietary Guidelines.
