Brigitte Duclos started life as a TV sports reporter, before taking on the role of morning news reader for Triple M in the early '90s. She quickly moved into presenting breakfast radio, working with Stubbsy, then the Grill Team (with Dermott Brereton and Eddie McGuire) and earned a reputation as a strong, quick-witted match for the boys.

She was part of The Cage with Peter Berner, James Brayshaw, Matt Parkinson and Mike Fitzpatrick before joining Mix 101.1 breakfast show 'Mix Mornings' in 2008, alongside Tom Gleeson. In early 2010 she teamed up with Lehmo.

2012 Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs) - winners

The Australian Book Industry Awards were held in Sydney on Friday night. It was a great night for Penguin with our books taking the top honors in four book categories including the prestigious Book of the Year. Congratulations also to Peg McColl, Kate McCormack and the rights team who won the International (Rights) Award for the second year running for Paul French's book Midnight in Peking. United Book Distributors were again named Distributor of the Year.
