Michael Field, banned in four Pacific countries including Fiji, has been a newspaper and agency reporter for 35 years, mostly covering the South Pacific. A former Agence France-Presse correspondent, he now reports for Fairfax Media and has been a commentator on Radio New Zealand National's 'Nine to Noon' for over a decade.
