Angela Crocombe is the author of A Lighter Footprint: A Practical Guide to Minimising Your Impact on the Planet, published in 2007. She has written numerous educational books for primary school students, including a series on farming in Australia and two books on the environment: Climate Change and Water. Angela stopped eating red meat when she was 16 years old, quit chicken two years later, and is currently a vegetarian. She is passionate about pursuing an ethical, sustainable lifestyle, and providing others with the information they need to make ethical choices in their own lives.

{ view all }The Australian Book Industry Awards were held in Sydney on Friday night. It was a great night for Penguin with our books taking the top honors in four book categories including the prestigious Book of the Year. Congratulations also to Peg McColl, Kate McCormack and the rights team who won the International (Rights) Award for the second year running for Paul French's book Midnight in Peking. United Book Distributors were again named Distributor of the Year.
