Kim Terakes (Author)
About
Kim Terakes' twenty-five-year advertising career was really just an excuse to have lunch in restaurants every day. He has since given up the pretence and now devotes himself exclusively to the cause of good food. Since the late 1980s, he has written about food and restaurants for publications such as Australian Gourmet Traveller, Vogue Entertaining, BRW, SMH Good Living, GQ, the Sunday Telegraph and the SMH Good Food Guide. Kim also runs the Boys Can Cook cooking school and Australia's largest barbecue club, aussiebarbie.com.au. Kim's website is kimterakes.com.
Kim is the author of The Great Aussie Barbie Cookbook, The Great Aussie Bloke's Cookbook and The Great Aussie Family Cookbook. His fourth book, The Great Aussie Asian Cookbook, will be published by Penguin in August 2011.
