Guy Grossi is an icon of Italian cooking in Australia. He is the owner and head chef of renowned Melbourne restaurant Grossi Florentino, and owner of Mirka at Tolarno Hotel in St Kilda, Merchant Osteria Veneta in Melbourne's Rialto complex and Grossi Trattoria in Bangkok. Recognised as the country's leading authority on Italian cuisine, he has appeared on television programs such as MasterChef Australia, is a judge on My Kitchen Rules and co-hosts Italian Food Safari, as well as writing a weekly column for the Sunday Herald Sun. Guy's restaurants consistently win accolades but the thing that gives him the most joy is the satisfaction of a hungry diner.
