2012 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards

Sonya Hartnett's Come Down, Cat! (illustrated by Lucia Masciullo) was named the Young Children Category Winner at the 2012 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards. The Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards are presented annually for excellence in the development of children’s speech, language and literacy skills.

At this year’s awards, presented at a ceremony at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne on 16 October, a Lifetime Achievement Award was also presented to author and illustrator Graeme Base.

Congratulations to both Sonya Hartnett and Graeme Base.

Kate Richards wins 2014 Dobbie Award for Madness: A Memoir
