| Beverley Macdonald has written novels for children and adults. Her first fantasy novel, The Madigal, was published in 1995. Small Sacrifices is her first novel for young adults. Her short fiction and non-fiction for children has been published in anthologies and magazines. She is an acclaimed author, her science fiction was included in the Year's Best Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy in 1997. Beverley Macdonald is a graduate of RMIT's Professional Writing and Editing Diploma, and currently works in children's television. She lives in a chaotic household in inner Melbourne with her partner, children and various animals. |
